Essential Functions:

  • Supervise students on the computer either in the library or classroom..

  • Assist with word processing, spreadsheets, or presentations.

  • Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote a positive image.  Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and following operating procedures and policies.

  • Assist in the repair of Chromebooks

  • Assist with classroom technology troubleshooting


Minimum Requirements:

  • Skills/Knowledge:  Ability to follow instructions.  Professional and trustworthy conduct is required.  Must be courteous and respectful.  Ability to learn quickly.  Must communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.

  • Must be a high school student in good standing.  Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.

  • Business casual attire.

  • Computer knowledge of Macintosh, Chromebooks, and Windows computers (Internet, word processing).

  • Willingness to learn new software programs.


This description does not list all duties. The teaching assistant may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or supervisor. The intern assistant will be evaluated on the performance of the projects listed as well as interaction with employees and clients. On-site hours will be negotiated with each candidate.
