Work 1:1 with students or in small groups.
Supervise small group activities.
Assist the teacher as directed.
Provide active supervision and engage with students in various contexts.
Maintain the confidentiality of the students in the summer program.
Prepare class materials.
Model appropriate behaviors at all times.
Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image.
Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player. Must be detail-oriented. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful. Ability to follow instruction of classroom teachers. An interest in working with students. Demonstrate care and patience of special needs students.
Must be a high school student in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
Flexible and appropriate attire for activities at hand is required. Intern must dress for the weather.
