Pirc-Tobin Construction is a privately-owned, heavy/highway construction company established in 2005. We have continued to grow over the last ten years and have worked in many cities and towns across eastern Iowa. We are located in Alburnett, Iowa, just fifteen minutes north of Cedar Rapids. DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Observe the job duties of employees including Accounts Payable Basics, Accounts Receivable Basics, Credit Card Statement Reconciliation, and Fuel Log Entry.
Attend meetings as appropriate
Complete computer tasks as needed
File and sort accounting-related paperwork
Other job duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

Detail-oriented and good organizational skills
An interest in math; preference given to students who have had accounting or finance classes
Good spoken and written communication skills
Desire to work in a team environment or independently
Knowledge of or ability to learn quickly with office-based products such as Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
Business casual attire required

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
