Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:30 PM

The dealership Business Internship will provide the intern an overview of the day-to-day operations of our John Deere Dealership in Kalona in 45 hours. The duties may include but are not limited to the following:

Parts (~15 hours)

Assisting the parts team in day-to-day duties as a parts utility person. This may include pulling parts, inventory, stock order, and learning the parts system

Sales (~15 Hours)

Meet with customers
Shadow salesman on the processes of a deal

Other (~15 Hours)

Shadowing and assisting with administrative office duties
Assist sales admin team with picturing and advertising equipment on Machine Finder Pro
Shadow service manager with daily duties
Equipment delivery

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
