Internship Title: Medical Device High School Student Intern - Coralville, IA

Performs various duties dependent upon the department in which the position resides. Responsibilities include: data entry and analysis with execution of additional activities based on results, participation in technical meetings such as design reviews, collaboration and job shadowing as a member of the cross-functional team. May be asked to perform other duties by the staff or manager.

Interns in the role will be provided mentoring and practical hands on experience for relevant career-related activities encountered in the student’s area of study or specialization. Work hours to be negotiated and agreed upon by the manager and intern.

Essential Functions

· Good writing and computer skills (experience with Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and Microsoft Word for word processing preferred)

· Clear communication and good interpersonal skills

· Ability to compose emails and answer phone calls

· Can work independently or as a team

· Respectful, trustworthy, and excited to learn

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
