Youth/Clerical Ministry Intern

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Assist Children and Youth Ministry departs during weekend and weekday ministries

· Develop ministry curriculum

· Assist in the planning and implementation of events

· Attend monthly team meetings

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

· Writing and computer skills

· Enjoy working with a team of individuals

· Enjoy working with children and youth

· Willing to give and take direction as well as be proactive as appropriate

· Self-starter with a positive attitude

· Person of character (trustworthy, dependable, honest, highintegrity)

· Comfortable communicating verbally with others

· Be high school junior or senior in good standing

· Ability for tolerance and respect of a Christian work environment

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH VOLUNTEERS, CHILDREN/YOUTH, PARENTS, AND TEAM MEMBERS. ONSITE HOURS CAN BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
