Intern Title: Engineering and Marketing Intern

The intern will assist engineers in performing general tasks and lab testing on new products. Additionally, the intern will complete marketing data mining and analysis as well as assist with the development of marketing materials. The intern may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or manager. The intern will be evaluated on performance of the projects assigned and interaction with other employees and vendors. Work hours to be negotiated and agreed upon by the manager and intern.

Essential Functions

Problem Solving, Analytical Thinking, Completes Projects in a Timely Manner
Good writing and computer skills (experience with Microsoft Excel for spreadsheets and Microsoft Word for word processing preferred)

Ability to compose emails, answer phone calls, and make sound decisions
Can work independently or as a team
Respectful, trustworthy, and excited to learn

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
