Session Availability: Fall, Spring, Summer
Internship Length: 45 hrs

Functions:

Student will learn positive youth development principles and practices
Student will assist in volunteer development and recognition
Student will assist in youth recruitment
Student will help prepare, assist, and lead youth programs
Student will prepare and assist with marketing of programs

Requirements:
Ability to follow instructions and take direction
Strong organizational and communication skills
Attention to detail
Professional and trustworthy conduct
Courteous and respectful demeanor
Enjoy working with youth
Patient, supportive, and positive attitude toward working with youth
Flexibility and high energy
Mature attitude

This description does not list all duties. Intern may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or supervisor. Intern will be evaluated on performance of the projects listed as well as interaction with employees and clients. On-site hours will be negotiated with each candidate.
