Internship Length: 45 hrs

Lead advocate in the promotion, education and engagement of Economic Development in your community, with primary emphasis in community youth.
To carry out the program and activities of the Cedar County Economic Development Commission, as delegated by the Commission Executive Director.
Engage and contribute to the commission’s social media with relevant post and stories highlighting local development stories.
Develop and deliver activities that helps distributes as positive message for the community, county and the Commission.
Help the commission to develop additional way to engage county youth and educate them of the importance of local economic activities.
Keep up on required reading with a willingness to deliver reports on the subject.
Professional appearance.
Ability to delivery as message both verbally and in written word successfully.
Open to some public speaking,
THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.
