Intern Title: Costume Intern

Performing Arts Venue: Sizable, modern theater showcasing musicals, concerts, independent films & other cultural events.

Functions:

Interested in theatre, specifically in costuming, fashion, and design
Willing to assist with cast measurements or act as scribes
Competent at sewing and can assist at pinning hems and alterations
Able to assist with costume changes backstage during rehearsals and performances

Requirements:

You love working with people and have a positive attitude
You have a friendly, flexible attitude that offers support to actors and fellow crew members
You work well under pressure
You are able to follow directions and have an eye for detail
Your are able to creatively solve problems
You are able to work as part of a team
You are responsible and dependable, and will show up when scheduled and on time

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
