Agronomy Center Student Assistant

Internship Length: 45 hrs

Essential Functions:

Work alongside a professional agronomist to study crop production and soil management.
Student will be expected to work in the agronomy office, plant and in the out-of-doors.
Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image. Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player, and enjoy working with the public without bias or prejudice. Must be detail-oriented. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful.
Must be a high school senior in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
Business casual attire is required for the office. Jeans (no holes) and t-shirt or sweater shirt (no writing) will be allowed while working in the plant. A neat appearance is essential.
