Agronomy Sales and Service Intern

Functions:

• Sort orders
• Mapping and planning support for clients as directed by site supervisor
• Seed delivery and customer support
• Equipment operation as directed by the site supervisor

Requirements:

• Student must exhibit a willingness to observe processes,  listen and learn
• Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player, and enjoy working with the public without bias or prejudice. Must be detail-oriented. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful.
• Must be a high school senior in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
• Business casual attire is required for the office. Jeans (no holes) and t-shirt or sweater shirt (no writing) will be allowed while working in the plant. A neat appearance is essential.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
