Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 7:30AM - 10AM

Functions:

Student will follow instructions as directed by lead custodian that will include vacuuming classrooms and common areas, general cleaning and sanitation of classrooms and common areas, surfaces and windows.
Student will use approved cleaning products and machines as directed and supervised by site host.
Student will adhere to the safety guidelines at all times and to the safety and best practice procedures as directed by their site host.

Requirements:

Student will adhere to all safety and trained procedures as directed by custodial staff.
Student will complete cleaning and maintenance assignments in a timely manner as directed by staff.
Student will approach work with a positive and energetic attitude.
Student will demonstrate respect for staff and property at all times and perform their internship with the highest level of honesty and integrity.
Student will be allowed to listen to their own personal music via headphones if he/she meets standard performance requirments.
This job description does not list all the job duties. Intern may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or supervisor. Intern will be evaluated on performance of the projects listed as well as interaction with employees and clients. Work hours will be negotiated with each candidate.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE Staff or sUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. On-site HOURS WILL BE negotiated WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

Safety expectations, including harassment, should be reviewed with the host.
