Internship Length: 45 hrs
Essential Functions:
Pastor-Teacher:
    The pastor/teacher position will involve everything in the preparation of giving a sermon and /or teaching, interaction with congregation and community including:
    Go over the different types of sermons, (topical, textual and expository)
    Historial research of the Bible text(s) being used
    Building the teaching from introduction to closing
    The use of illustrations and examples
    How to apply the research, illustrations , thoughts and ideas into everyday life
    Hospital and home visits
    Ministerial Association Meetings
Administrator:
    The adminstration of church life will include:
    Adminstrating the flow of a Sunday morning service
    Communicating with those involved in Sunday morning (worship team, ushers, audio/visual personnel, ect.)
    Finances and Budgeting
    Church council Meetings
    Facilities and Grounds (not necessarily doing the task but making sure it is done)
    A/C and furnace maintenance
    Snow removal and lawn mowing
    Ect

Food Pantry:
    This will include:
    Filling and delivering food boxes
    Filling shelves when food orders come in.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
