Radiology Student Intern

Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 8-5

Functions:

Student interns will observe back office procedures with our assistants watching what they do with patients. They will observe several different types of dental radiographs performed on patients.
Student interns will learn the procedures in the darkroom, where we develop film and may have some hands on experiences with film development in the darkroom.
Student will assist at the front desk by pulling records and making confirmation calls to patientsl.
Students will learn office procedure regarding surgical suite hygenic procedures.

Basic Requirements:

Strong organizational and communication skills in working with diverse clients.
Professional in appearance and demeanor. Must be a HS junior or senior in good academic standing with a demonstrated interest in the field.
Reliable and trustworthy; able to work as a member of a work team.
This job description does not list all the job duties. Intern may be asked to perform other duties by the staff or supervisor. Intern will be evaluated on performance of the projects listed as well as interaction with employees and clients. Work hours will be negotiated with each candidate.
Students can wear street clothes (business casual) into the office and will wear a lab coat while working.
