Physical Therapist Intern

Internship Length: 45 hrs
Office Hours: 9-5

Essential Functions:

General office duties.
Assist with procedures (patient and staff permission required).
Help keep work areas neat and organized to promote positive image. Use appropriate behavior in keeping with the mission, vision and beliefs and in accordance with operating procedures and policies.

Minimum Requirements:

Skills/Knowledge: Ability to follow instructions. Must have strong organizational and communication skills, be a team player, and enjoy working with the public without bias or prejudice. Must be detail-oriented. Professional and trustworthy conduct is required. Must be courteous and respectful. Basic knowledge of office equipment is helpful (phone, copy machine, fax). Confidentiality of patient information is required.
Must be a high school senior in good standing. Must be poised, mature and possess a positive attitude while being flexible.
Business casual attire is required.

THIS DESCRIPTION DOES NOT LIST ALL DUTIES. INTERN MAY BE ASKED TO PERFORM OTHER DUTIES BY THE STAFF OR SUPERVISOR. INTERN WILL BE EVALUATED ON PERFORMANCE OF THE PROJECTS LISTED AS WELL AS INTERACTION WITH EMPLOYEES AND CLIENTS. ON-SITE HOURS WILL BE NEGOTIATED WITH EACH CANDIDATE.

SAFETY EXPECTATIONS, INCLUDING HARASSMENT, SHOULD BE REVIEWED WITH THE HOST.
